The Chamber is organizing Wednesday morning (4/9/2013-28/10/1434) workshop on ' Desertification, its impacts and disadvantages ' with the participation of experts and stakeholders in this area.
The workshop will be held in the main center and will be presenting a number of specialized worksheets: ' low water levels and pollution, poor agricultural soils and salinity, urban sprawl on agricultural areas, overgrazing and logging impact on vegetation, climate and human behaviors on the soil, the legislation on desertification, the efforts of international organizations in combating desertification .
The workshop is within the activities of the Environment Committee in the Chamber.
